Experience in Criminal Investigations:
Todd retired from the Indiana State Police as a detective after 21 years of service in various investigative assignments. As a District Detective he worked everything from credit card fraud to murder, nearly every crime in the book. As a member of the Drug Enforcement Section he served in an undercover role, managed complex drug-trafficking conspiracy cases and served as the wiretap analyst. As a founding member of the Electronic Surveillance Unit he specialized in wiretap investigations, cellular device tracking and historical record analysis.
Experience on Microphone:
He had been a professional standup comedian for 7 years by the time he retired from crimefighting. No longer a police officer, he was able to focus more on comedy as he transitioned to a new career in podcasting and radio for Barstool Sports as host of Heartland Radio and cast member of The Pat McAfee Show. He continued in both roles for Pat McAfee, Inc after former NFL great Pat McAfee launched his own media company and brand. After a 3-year run of sports radio and comedy podcasting in the big leagues, he went out on his to focus full time on standup and to start his own true crime podcast called 10-41.
Experience in Show Development:
After a viral pandemic brought standup comedy to a screeching halt just 3 months into his rising journey as a full-timer, he partnered with his comedy hero Stewart Huff in a search for the "perfect story" to collaborate on in a new medium. This partnership led them on a bizarre 2-year investigative journey that landed them in the middle of one of the most significant true crime stories in the genre's history. A story that they developed into a documentary series that now has them partnered with the producer of The Fog of War and The Secrets of Hillsong and the directors of Low Country and The Devil Next Door. That's all you're allowed to hear about that project for now. Todd also got an opportunity to join the originals team at Resonate Recordings as a producer and investigator on season 2 of Culpable and season 1 of Undetermined, which both climbed to the top of the Apple Podcast charts.
